Please note that credit card payments for Ravenna Incoming Soc. Cons. are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland (“TREKKSOFT”). Therefore, TREKKSOFT will appear as RAVENNA INCOMING on your credit card statement for the payment of this booking. The domain where you enter and process your payment is owned and operated by TREKKSOFT.

Terms and Conditions – VISIT RAVENNA Services

1. Introduction and Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Visit Ravenna! These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern the purchase of tourist services and experiences available online on the website www.visitravenna.it (hereinafter the “Website”), managed by Ravenna Incoming Soc. Cons. a r.l. (hereinafter referred to as “Visit Ravenna” or “we”).

By making a purchase on the Website, the customer (hereinafter the “Customer”) fully and unreservedly accepts these Terms. We therefore recommend reading them carefully before purchasing any service.

Any modification or update to the Terms will become effective upon publication on the Website and will apply exclusively to purchases made after such publication. It is the Customer’s responsibility to periodically review the Terms to stay informed of any changes.

2. Definitions

Visit Ravenna: Ravenna Incoming Soc. Cons. a r.l., owner of the Website and responsible for promoting and selling the tourist services listed on the Website.

Customer: The natural or legal person who purchases services on the Website and accepts these Terms.

Provider: A third party or business partner that offers or delivers specific Tourist Services bookable through the Website. In cases where Visit Ravenna acts as an intermediary, the Provider shall be the party responsible for the proper execution of the service.

Tourist Service: Any tourist-related service available for purchase on the Website, including but not limited to guided tours, cultural visits, events, and transportation services. These are categorized as:
• Shared services: operated at fixed times and shared with other passengers;
• Private services: organized upon request and exclusively reserved for the Customer or booking group.

Voucher: An electronic document issued by Visit Ravenna that confirms the purchase of a Tourist Service, to be presented in order to access the purchased service.

No-show: Failure by the Customer to appear at the location and time specified on the Voucher to use the Tourist Service, without prior notice within the required terms.

Force Majeure: Unforeseeable events beyond the control of Visit Ravenna that make it impossible to deliver the Tourist Service, such as natural disasters, wars, government restrictions, pandemics, strikes, adverse weather conditions, etc.

 


3. Subject of the Contract

These Terms govern the online offer and sale of Tourist Services available on the Website, including but not limited to:

• Guided tours and themed itineraries: Cultural, artistic, and historical tours with a licensed guide, available by reservation.
• Events, activities, and experiences: Admission to events, interactive experiences, and cultural, sports, food & wine, or recreational activities.
• Transfer and transportation services: Private or shared transfer services operated with authorized vehicles and drivers.
• Tourist packages: Combinations of tourist services organized by Visit Ravenna, including one or more elements such as transport, accommodation, and entertainment activities.

Visit Ravenna may act as an intermediary for some Tourist Services offered on the Website; in such cases, the services are provided by third parties (Providers) and are subject to the specific conditions of each Provider, which the Customer accepts at the time of purchase.


4. Booking Procedure and Conclusion of the Contract

To purchase Tourist Services available on the Website, the Customer must follow the online booking procedure:

  1. Selection of the Service
  2. Entry of the required personal information
  3. Payment
  4. Receipt of the Voucher via email as confirmation

For private transfer services, payment in two phases is available (see section ‘Prices and Payment Methods’). For all other types of services, full payment is required at the time of booking.


5. Prices and Payment Methods

All prices for Tourist Services listed on the Website are expressed in Euro (€) and include VAT and any other applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated.
Visit Ravenna reserves the right to change prices at any time; however, the Customer will always be charged the amount displayed at the time of booking.

Payments for services purchased on the Website are managed through the TrekkSoft platform, which guarantees high security standards. The charge will appear as ‘TREKKSOFT’ or ‘RAVENNA INCOMING’ on the Customer’s bank statement.

Customers who require an invoice must request it before completing the booking, by sending an email to info@visitravenna.it with the necessary billing information. It will not be possible to issue an invoice after the transaction if it was not requested in advance.

Payment Methods for Private Transfers

For private transfer services, payment can be divided into two phases:

  1. A 30% deposit, payable at the time of confirmation to secure the service.
  2. The remaining 70% balance, to be paid no later than 30 days before the service date.

If the booking is made less than 30 days before the date of the service, full payment will be required at the time of booking.


6. Cancellation and Changes Policy

Cancellation for Guided Tours, Experiences, and Cultural Activities Managed by Visit Ravenna

• Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled start time: full refund of the amount paid.
• Cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours before the scheduled start time: possibility to reschedule the booking, subject to availability.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours or no-show: no refund or rescheduling possible.

 

Cancellation for Activities Managed by Third Parties

• In the absence of specific terms, the above conditions will apply.
• If the service is subject to the provider’s specific cancellation terms, these will be detailed in the activity description and are accepted at the time of booking.

 

Cancellation for Transfer Services

Shared Transfer Services:
• Cancellations made up to 5 days before the service date: full refund of the amount paid.
• Cancellations made less than 5 days before the service date or in case of force majeure: no refund. Visit Ravenna will make every effort to offer rescheduling, subject to availability.

Private Transfer Services:
• Cancellations made up to 7 days before the service date: full refund of the amount paid.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the service date or in case of force majeure: no refund.


7. Delays, Absences, and No-Show

It is the Customer’s responsibility to promptly inform Visit Ravenna in the event of a delay. The Customer may contact our customer service using the contact details provided in the Voucher or booking confirmation.

For guided tours and cultural experiences managed by Visit Ravenna, if the delay is communicated before the scheduled start time, we will do our best to reschedule the service, subject to availability. However, rescheduling is not guaranteed.

For activities managed by third parties, rescheduling depends on the Provider’s terms and conditions.

For transfer services:
• In the event of a Customer delay, rescheduling is not guaranteed.
• For private transfers, failure to show up or a delay beyond the agreed time will result in the loss of the service without any refund, unless otherwise stated in writing by Visit Ravenna.

In case of no-show, the service will be considered delivered, and no refund or rescheduling will be offered.


8. Limitation of Liability and Force Majeure

Visit Ravenna acts as either an organizer or intermediary between the Customer and Providers. It is not responsible for non-fulfillment by third-party Providers, nor for damages, losses, or inconveniences caused by them.

Visit Ravenna is committed to delivering quality services but does not guarantee that every aspect will be error-free.

Force majeure events include circumstances beyond control such as natural disasters, wars, acts of terrorism, strikes, government restrictions, technical failures, or transport issues.

In such cases, Visit Ravenna will inform the Customer and, if possible, offer an alternative or rescheduling. If no alternative is available, a partial refund may be granted, deducting any non-recoverable costs.


9. Privacy and Data Protection

Visit Ravenna processes Customer personal data in accordance with EU GDPR 2016/679 and applicable Italian law.

Data is used for:
• Booking management
• Service-related communications
• Legal and fiscal obligations
• Marketing communications (only with prior consent)

Data is processed both electronically and on paper, with appropriate security measures. It may be shared with Providers only for the purpose of delivering the booked service.

10. Language of the Contract

These Terms are drawn up in Italian. In the event of discrepancies between translated versions, the Italian text shall prevail.


11. Participation of Minors

All minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the booked services.


12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law.

For any disputes regarding the Terms:
• If the Customer resides in Italy: the competent court is that of their residence or domicile.
• In all other cases: the competent court is Ravenna, Italy.
