Would you like to make your own house number or the initial of your name in mosaic?
I am waiting for you in my laboratory Pixel Mosaics to help you create your mosaic.After a brief tour in the history of Ravenna mosaic, I will show you which materials you may utilize and the traditional tools used to cut the tiles.
I will follow you through all the stages of processing, from the preparation of cement mortar, to the cutting of materials and the realization of your artwork.
At the end of the course you will create with your own hands a souvenir of Ravenna to take home!

PROGRAM:
- visiting of the laboratory, a brief history of the mosaic, demonstration of the manual cutting of materials using traditional tools

Subject
It would be advisable to receive the subject to be reproduced in mosaic a few days before the workshop.
Confirmation of Availability
The workshop will be confirmed upon verification of availability by the mosaic craftsman.
Booking is not automatic: you will receive an email confirmation shortly.
Participation with Pets
Four-legged friends are welcome, provided we are informed at the time of booking.
The workshop is an artisan space where marble, glass, and smalti are used: there may be small tiles, fragments, or dust on the floor, and the activity takes place in the presence of other participants, including children.
For this reason, we rely on the owner's sense of responsibility, as they are best suited to evaluate whether their pet is comfortable in such an environment and able to stay with them safely for the duration of the activity.
If you wish, you may bring a blanket, mat, or pet bed so your four-legged companion can relax in a cozy and safe spot.
This workshop also has a large enclosed garden where the dog can stay during the activity, if that is deemed more suitable.
