ART CARD: A PASS FOR THE RIMINI MUSEUMS
Rimini is art: the Art Card allows you to visit the best in 4 museums!
The Civic Museum, housed in the eighteenth-century Jesuit College, offers a 2,000 year long journey through extraordinary uniqueness. Like the set of surgical instruments of a doctor, who lived in the 3rd Century AD. The findings come from the nearby Domus del Chirurgo (accessible with the Art Card).
The Palazzi dell'Arte Museum in Rimini is the museum of modern and contemporary art, opened in 2020. It was born from the meeting between the Municipality of Rimini and the San Patrignano Foundation. It is located in the medieval buildings of Arengo and Podestà, in the heart of the historic center. On display is an eclectic and varied collection of important works of the Twentieth Century and the new millennium.
The Fellini Museum, opened in 2021, is the only museum in the world entirely dedicated to Federico Fellini: the famous film director who was born in Rimini. It is spread over three axes: the Museum, housed in the Castel Sismondo, where the atmosphere of Fellini’s films is restored. The Palazzo del Fulgor, where, thanks to a series of visual and technological tools, you can embark on a journey into Fellini’s imagination. The third area is Piazza Malatesta,  the square close to the Fellini Museum transformed into Piazza dei Sogni ("The dreaming square").
