From Spelt Grain to Cookies

So much talking about local food, but who is ready to live this experience from the field to the table?La Sabbiona Agriturismo awaits to make visitors live an unforgettable day filled with unique emotions and bring home with you the result of “hands-on work”.

Together with Mauro, visit La Sabbiona Farm and discover its spelt production. After a short transfer, visit and discover the secrets of an ancient stone mill. Grind the spelt grains and make flour. Each of the participants will receive 1kg of spelt flour and a tiny present.
With your sack full of flour, you will move back to La Sabbiona, where Serena will teach you how to make delicious cookies. A sweet ending for this day!


La Sabbiona Agriturismo and Winery id located on Oriolo hills, a few km away from Faenza. At your arrival, you will visit the farm and learn about the stages of spelled production. Then you will move to Molino Scodellino for a visit and the preparation of the flour, with which you will return to La Sabbiona to follow Serena's biscuit workshop. At the end of the experience ... enjoy your meal!
