GiovinBacco - Wine Tasting Voucher

GiovinBacco - Sangiovese in Festa returns to Ravenna again this year for three days dedicated to the celebration of wine, with a special focus on Sangiovese, an excellence of Romagna and all of Italy.
From October 25 to 27, the most iconic squares in the historic center – Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Garibaldi, Piazza XX Settembre, and Piazza Kennedy – will be transformed into a large food and wine stage, where you can taste high-quality wines and savor the best of local cuisine.
For wine tastings, vouchers for 5 or 10 samples are available for purchase online and can be conveniently picked up at the Tourist Information Office at Piazza San Francesco 7. This way, you can skip the queues at the counters and dive straight into the tasting experience.
Street food specialties will be available at individual stands or kiosks, while purchases from market stalls can be paid for directly at the sales counter. This is a unique opportunity to experience the heart of Ravenna, immersed in flavors, tradition, and conviviality.
1) Choose the type of voucher: from the following options:
- 5-tasting voucher without glass
- 5-tasting voucher with glass
- 10-tasting voucher without glass
- 10-tasting voucher with glass
- Voucher for an extra glass (can only be purchased in combination with a tasting voucher).
2) Make the payment: complete your online purchase using a credit or debit card.
3) Pick up your vouchers: You can collect the vouchers at the Tourist Information Office at Piazza San Francesco 7, either in the days leading up to the event or on the day of your participation.
4) Pick up the glass (if purchased): After collecting your voucher, go to the distribution point to pick up the glass (if included) and start enjoying the wines at the event stands.
5) Enjoy the tastings: Use your voucher to explore and taste the wines offered at the stands, and repeat the experience as many times as you like!

Other useful information:
- Special offers: Members of Slow Food, AIS, AIES, ONAV, and COOP Alleanza 3.0 are entitled to 1 free token for every 5-tasting voucher purchased, and 2 free tokens for every 10-tasting voucher purchased. A valid membership card must be presented to receive the gift.
- Tasting rules: For each tasting, 1 token will be collected. For dessert wines, reserve wines, and sparkling wines, 2 tokens will be required for each tasting.
- CULTURE voucher: Every person who purchases a wine tasting voucher will also receive a Culture Voucher, offering discounts and benefits at the Alighieri Theatre, MAR, Classis Ravenna Museum, Domus dei Tappeti di Pietra, and other cultural attractions.
- Prohibition for minors: It is prohibited to serve or sell wine to anyone under the age of 18.

Highlights
The wineries of Romagna will be in Piazza del Popolo and Piazza Garibaldi, offering a wide selection of local wines, including Sangiovese, Albana, and other native varieties.
Slow Wine Guide:
In Piazza del Popolo, you will have the opportunity to taste wines selected by the Slow Wine Guide, which includes the "Snail Wines" in line with the Slow Food philosophy and the Everyday Wines.
Food and Street Food:
The squares will also host street food stands, with typical Romagnolo dishes such as piadine, fried pizza, arancini, and much more, available from the artisans of CNA. In Piazza XX Settembre, there will be the Mercatino dei Sapori and Food Trucks offering local specialties.
