GiovinBacco - Wine tasting tickets
In Ravenna city centre, the 17th Edition of the great celebration of Romagna wine and food - 25th, 26th and 27th October
“GiovinBacco. Sangiovese in Festa” is the greatest event about Romagna wines, and on 2019 it is on its 17th year. This year it conquers locals and tourists, turning Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Unità d'Italia and Piazza Kennedy into the perfect arena for good food and wine from Romagna.
The event is organized by Slow Food Ravenna and Tuttifrutti with Ravenna municipality.
The event is free, the tastings of food and wine are to be paid
Tickets for wine tasting
_ Ticket for 4 tastings: 8€_ Ticket for 6 tastings: 11€
_ Ticket for 10 tastings: 15€
For each tickets bought:
- you will receive a ticket to collect the wine glass and its bag at the hut in Piazza del Popolo- you will receive also a discount sheet for cultural events like Ravenna Festival, Ravennantica and MAR Monuments and Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest

at the Tourist Information Office, Piazza San Francesco 7, Ravenna
From Monday to Saturday: 8.30 - 19.00
On Sunday: 9.30 - 17.30
Where to use the tickets
The tickets can be used in Piazza del Popolo and Piazza Kennedy: in the first Piazza you will find wines from Romagna wineries, in the other Piazza the Italian wines selected by SlowFood and SlowWine.
This year, Giovinbacco will go on after the Piazza closure in 4 bars that have an agreement with the organization. The wine tasting tickets owners will be able to use them not only in the 2 piazzas, ma after the stands closure( from 10 pm of Friday 26th, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th) they can use them in the following places:
Baldovino Enoteca – Via Tombesi dall’Ova 9
Casa Spadoni – Via San Vitale 34
Costa Cafè – Piazza Andrea Costa 5
Fricandò – Via Maggiore, 7
In Piazza del Popolo it is on sale a Piatto Stuzzichino (3 €) : a little snack for the wine tasting.
